A Naming Ceremony not only gives you that special event, but it also allows you, the parents to formally introduce your little bundle of joy into this world.

• It also allows the participation of those other important people you would like to be involved in your child's life - Grandparents, other family members and friends or mentors you may wish to appoint as Godparents or guardians.

While naming ceremonies are often associated with babies - it is not their purview alone - anyone of any age can have a Naming Ceremony and you will often find that young children and adults, who may not have previously been officially named or christened, would like such a ceremony as a celebration of their life. As a qualified civil celebrant I will ensure the following:

• I will work with you to create a lasting memento of this event.
• There are no legal requirements for a Naming ceremony.
• You will also receive a Naming Certificate presented to you on the day to commemorate the occasion.
